Liberty Hospital is opening a new Pain Management Center, dedicated to helping people who suffer from acute and chronic pain find relief.
The new facility, which opens Nov. 5, almost triples the size of the previous Center’s space. It features six examination rooms, two procedure rooms, five recovery bays and a spacious lobby/waiting room. It is located in the hospital’s Medical Plaza East building.
“Pain is a common daily experience for many people,” says Joe Crossett, Liberty Hospital administrator. “The good news is that most types of pain can be managed and controlled, which allows people to return to a normal life. This new, state-of-the art facility allows us to provide a very important service to our community.”
Common conditions treated at the Pain Management Center include low back pain, headaches, head and neck pain, sciatica, facial pain, rib fracture pain and musculoskeletal pain. Care is provided by anesthesiologists who are specially-trained in the field of pain management.
The new Pain Management Center was completed at a cost of $700,000.
