The Liberty Clinic relocates to new state-of-the-art facility

LIBERTY, Mo. (July 19, 2012) – The Liberty Clinic (TLC) will open its new clinic located at 2609 Glenn Hendren Drive, in Liberty on Monday, Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.

“Our new clinic will help us to better serve our current patients as well as the growing population in the Liberty community and surrounding areas,” said Ryan Huyser, MD, medical director at TLC. “This new clinic will offer patients a comfortable healing environment and the design will allow our physicians and staff to focus on providing enhanced patient-centered care.”

The new clinic is conveniently located off Interstate 35, just north of Liberty Hospital, and offers ample parking and a covered awning for easy patient drop off access. The clinic also features two entrance points—a main entrance that will be open during normal business hours Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a separate entrance for the acute care clinic that is held Monday through Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. as well as on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Inside, the clinic features a patient-friendly design with 25,000 square feet of space. The waiting area is spacious and includes a separate child’s play area and infectious disease area. The clinic also features 39 exam rooms, five more than our current location, as well as a large lab and digital diagnostic area. There are also two treatment rooms for minor procedures.

The new clinic is also going to be much more efficient with the implementation of an electronic medical record system. “When we designed the clinic, we focused on our patient flow process, keeping in mind that we would be implementing this system,” said Huyser.

To prepare for the move, the clinic will be closing its current location at 122 S. Stewart Road in Liberty on Friday, Aug. 3 at noon. There will also be no acute care clinic on Saturday, Aug. 4.
