All of our ER physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine and many of our nurses are certfied in emergency nursing. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Several of them have been published in national journals and have been invited to speak at national conferences.
Who will you see when coming to Liberty Hospital’s Emergency Department?
- Emergency physicians – board certified in Emergency Medicine
- Emergency nurses – Many RNs are certified in emergency nursing and they all receive specialized training including advanced cardiac life support, trauma and pediatrics.
- Emergency Department technicians – take vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with care.
- Specialists – depending on your diagnosis, a specialist may be brought in for consultation, including a surgeon, neurologist, pediatrician, internist, etc.
