Liberty Hospital
Liberty CaRES

Liberty Hospital understands our patients’ needs. The Cancer Rehabilitation Education and Support (CaRES) program helps you overcome cancer-related fatigue. Their goal is to help you return to your highest level of function and independence.

Typical problems that benefit from Liberty CaRES:
• Fatigue from chemotherapy or radiation treatments
• Weakness or balance issues related to treatments

New research indicates that exercise may be the best way for patients to cope with fatigue. Doing aerobic exercise at a moderate level for at least 20 minutes a day, five times a week, can help break the fatigue cycle and restore the patient’s health.

All therapy is customized to meet your individual needs. If you are suffering from cancer-related fatigue and would like more information about the CaRES program, call 816-792-7062. A physician referral is required.
