Liberty Hospital’s orthopedic group treats patients for a variety of conditions, including joint replacements, sports injuries, back injuries and trauma. Patients come to our 33-bed unit to recover after surgery and begin rehabilitation.
Our collaborative approach means that a team of highly-skilled surgeons, nurses and therapists discuss each case to determine the best course of treatment, with the goal of getting the patient back to a high quality of life. Seven of our unit nurses are nationally certified in orthopedics – more than any other hospital in the Kansas City area.
