Liberty Hospital
Wound Clinic

The number of Americans suffering from chronic wounds is staggering. In fact, more than 5 million endure wounds caused by diabetes, lower extremity arterial and venous disease, and pressure ulcers.

At the Liberty Hospital Wound Clinic, we have the expertise to diagnose the cause of the wound and treat it accordingly. Our scope of care includes the treatments of wounds at any part of the body, including lower extremities, abdominal and sacral. We also treat wounds caused by diabetes, vascular disease (aterial, venous, lymphatic, vasculitis,) radiation, trauma, burns and pressure.

We treat many types of wounds, including but not limited to:
– Diabetic ulcers
– Pressure ulcers
– Surgical wounds
– Burn wounds
– Crush injuries
– Poor circulation
– Late effects of radiation

Our experienced health care team will assess your situation, create a customized treatment plan to meet your needs and will closely monitor your healing progress.

Wound care treatments include:
– Advanced wound care dressings
– Negative pressure wound therapy
– Compression therapy
– Growth factors
– Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Once a treatment plan is developed, our staff will show you how to care for your wound at home—because our goal is not only to heal wounds, but also to preserve limbs and prevent wound recurrence. Our staff teaches prevention, coordinates care between specialties, and monitors wounds (size, depth, appearance), as well as nutritional status and control of diabetes.

The Wound Clinic is located just down the street from Liberty Hospital in Hospital Valley. The clinic features 3,700 square feet of space and has an oversized waiting room, five procedure rooms and several private exam rooms.
