This lab contains operating equipment as well as the technology necessary to complete cardiac catheterizations (a test to look inside your heart). Prior to the creation of these rooms a patient had to schedule a cardiac cath and then be rescheduled for surgery.However, these new rooms allow the doctor to perform routine caths and then perform emergency surgeries if needed.
