There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at Liberty Hospital. Whether you enjoy sewing, selling items in the gift shop or interacting with patients, we’ve got just the opportunity for you.
Chapel - Play piano or escort patients to Chapel Services.

8:30 - 10 a.m.
Chapel Program Delivery - Deliver the Chapel bulletin to the patients.
Saturday afternoons
Approximately one hour
Courtesy Cart - Transport patients and visitors from the parking lot to the hospital.

7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Family Waiting Room - Serve as host/hostess in the Waiting Room, serve coffee, keep track of family members, have family ready when the doctor needs to talk to them.

Noon - 4 p.m.
Menu Ambassador - Prepare menu for patients, assist with preparing menus for the next day.

Gift Shop - Sell items, dust, offer assistance.

Information Desk - Keep information current, direct guests to their areas, deliver flowers, deliver mail, answer phones and be a friendly representative of the hospital.

Patient Registration - Greet patients, announce arrival to staff, escort patient to their destination.

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Assist staff, run errands, make copies, transport patients, keep volunteer informed in the Surgery Waiting Room.
8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Sewing Committee - Sew comfort pillows, eyeglass cases and toys for patients
Second Thursday morning of every month.
9 a.m. - noon
Can also be done at home.
Skilled Nursing Unit - Assist with activities for patients. Hours vary.
TreeHouse – Check in and check out guests, provide comfort and support to guests, answer phone.

Noon - 4 p.m.

Volunteer Work Room - Assemble forms, newsletters, books, kits, etc.
