Family Medicine Physician Opportunity – Kearney, Missouri (north of Kansas City, MO)

Clinic-based Practice

Liberty Hospital is seeking a board-certified family medicine physician for its primary care clinic in Kearney, MO. Kearney is located just seven miles north of Liberty, a fast-growing northern suburb of Kansas City, MO. Kearney has an exceptional school system and great housing.

The Kearney Clinic, owned by Liberty Hospital since 2013, is a busy practice with two full-time physicians and three part-time nurse practitioners.    This well-established clinic has lab, x-ray and physical therapy available onsite; minor procedures also are provided at this clinic.

The clinic currently is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it’s also open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday.  Each practitioner sees between 20 to 30 patients per day.  No inpatient practice is required; Liberty Hospital provides an employed hospitalist group for inpatient care.  This practice will include oversight of nurse practitioners.

This practice includes a competitive salary based on experience; an incentives program and a negotiable signing bonus.  The offer will include relocation, six weeks of paid time off plus one week for CME.  Professional liability will be provided. Occupational Medicine Physician  --  Liberty Hospital Urgent Care Shoal Creek  (Liberty, Missouri)

Liberty Hospital is seeking an experienced board-certified or board-eligible family medicine or occupational medicine to provide occupational medicine services at a new urgent care facility that was opened two years ago (the candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience providing occupational medicine services).  From the beginning this clinic has included occupational medicine and this service line has grown at a rapid rate.  The candidate also must be DOT certified or become DOT certified within the first 3 months of employment. The projected start date for this physician is August 1, 2017.

The Liberty Hospital Urgent Care Shoal Creek is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.  This is a five-day-a week position from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; no call and no weekend coverage is required.  The selected candidate must be comfortable reading X-rays and EKGs and have the ability to perform minor procedures such as splinting, suturing lacerations, foreign body removal, etc.

The selected candidate will be employed by New Liberty Hospital Corporation (an entity of Liberty Hospital).  The compensation is very competitive based on experience.  Moving expenses, professional liability and a great benefit package are included in this fantastic opportunity.
