The big day is almost here. Are you ready? Here are some things to help prepare for your delivery at Liberty Hospital.
It’s time to start thinking about your baby's physician. In fact, we encourage you to do some homework before your baby arrives and select a physician. Ask your friends. Check credentials. And when you narrow the choices, schedule a consultation prior to birth so that you can discuss the physician's philosophy on issues such as breastfeeding, child care and immunizations. Find a Provider now.
It's always nice to avoid surprises. That's why we suggest that you check out the specifics of your insurance policy now. That way, you'll understand the extent of your coverage before arriving at the hospital. If you have questions about your coverage, call your insurance company.
Here are the items we suggest you bring with you when you arrive for your delivery. It is helpful to have your bag packed at least two weeks prior to your delivery date.

State law requires that your baby ride in a car safety seat at all times. This means we cannot discharge your baby until we know he or she is in a car seat. We encourage you to visit the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administrations website to locate a car seat inspection station in the area or to find out about car seat recalls.
