Stronger. Faster. Better. Strength and conditioning training to increase athletic performance is a must for ALL athletes. Each athlete has different areas to address. Working in small groups will give you the individualized attention you need to help you reach your athletic performance goals.

Advanced Strength & Conditioning Program

Our ADVANCED athletic performance program is perfect for any advanced high school athlete looking to increase their athletic performance, while reducing the risk of injury. Every session/week will include:

  • Movement Preparation / Muscle Activation / Dynamic Flexibility
  • Plyometric / Medicine Ball Training
  • Linear and Lateral Speed/Acceleration/Change of Direction
  • Strength Training
  • General Conditioning
  • Flexibility Training

Monday-Friday 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

2x/week = $120/month (8 sessions)

3x/week = $180/month (12 sessions)

*8-athlete maximum in each group

Developmental Strength & Conditioning Program

Middle school athletes (12-15 yrs.) are at a pivotal point in their athletic development. At this point in the athlete’s career, focus and drive towards developing a solid work ethic via strength and conditioning training is a must. In this program we continue to develop a solid athletic foundation. Doing so will help avoid physical limitations/injuries down the line, and teach good habits/technique early. Each session/week will include:

  • Movement Preparation / Muscle Activation / Dynamic Flexibility
  • Plyometric / Medicine Ball Training
  • Instructional Linear and Lateral Speed/Acceleration/Change of Direction
  • Body Weight Strength Training
  • Introduction to Barbell Strength Training
  • General Conditioning
  • Flexibility Training

Monday/Wednesday 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. OR 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday/Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Running/Gait Analysis

Running/Gait Analysis

Attention Runners: Take the opportunity to improve your distance running mechanics by utilizing a state of the art gait analysis system, Medical Motion. Specialized Training for the Overhead Athlete

Strength and conditioning programs designed specifically for the overhead athlete (baseball/softball/swimming/volleyball/tennis). Each session/week will include:

  • Scapular control and strength training
  • Hip/shoulder separation training
  • Core Training
  • Explosive power training
  • Generalized strength training
  • Conditioning
  • Mobility/Flexibility

Adam Long, M.S., CSCS, USAW

Adam Long Web

Strength & Conditioning Coach Adam Long specializes in:

  • General physical preparation for sports
  • Strength and conditioning for all sports
  • Speed/Agility/Conditioning training
  • Injury prevention
  • Flexibility training

About Adam:
Adam has more than 10 years of experience in strength and conditioning training for all ages and ability levels. His previous experience includes serving as the head strength and conditioning coordinator at Colorado School of Mines, an NCAA Division II school, and assistant strength and conditioning coach at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. As a college athlete, he was team captain for the Bearcats, an All-American linebacker and was named the MIAA Defensive MVP in 2004. Adam and his wife, Carlie, have two children, Miller and Evelyn. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in any kind of athletics.

  • Master of Science in Physical Education with emphasis in Health Science, Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO
  • Bachelor of Science in Corporate Recreation with emphasis in Wellness

Certifications

Daiven Ruddock, B.S., USAW

Daiven has experience in strength and conditioning training on the high school and college levels. Previously, he was a strength and conditioning intern at Texas Christian University, a Division I school; William Jewell College, a Division II school.  As a college athlete, he was a team captain of the football team at William Jewell College. Prior to college, Daiven served four years in the United States Marine Corps, with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance, and served in two deployments to Afghanistan (OEF) and India to train their troops.  He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Shelby, and their two dogs, as well as competing in CrossFit and any athletic activity outdoors.
