Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the hospital mission and impact the lives of our patients, families, staff and providers. The volunteers fill a wide range of roles, including staffing the hospital gift shop, escorting and giving directions to patients and visitors, providing comfort care for oncology patients and supporting families while their loved one is in surgery.

Our volunteers receive a free meal in the café during their shift. They also participate in hospital and volunteer events.

The application period for our high school summer volunteer program (June 5 – Aug. 4, 2023) has closed. Thank you for your interest.

Volunteers also raise money through fundraisers and have purchased equipment, such as wheelchairs and a 3D mammogram machine with AFFIRM upright stereotactic biopsy attachment.
