Adam Rives, M.D. Leslie Thomas, M.D.
Adam Rives, M.D., is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, earned a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is fellowship trained in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery. He received a Gold Award for Best Orthopedic Physician in the 2017 Best of the Northland contest.

Leslie Thomas, M.D., is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Thomas completed his medical degree at St. Louis University. His internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery were completed at the University of Illinois and Cook County Hospital in Chicago. After residency, he served as a staff orthopedic surgeon at Offutt Air Force Base. An orthopedic surgeon for more than 25 years, Dr. Thomas founded Northland Bone and Joint in 1988 in Liberty. It closed in 2016.
Lisa Hauerland, MPAS, PA-C earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA, and she is board-certified by the National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants. Hauerland treats a range of orthopedic conditions, but specializes primarily in hand and upper extremity. She enjoys talking with her patients and getting to know them; this allows her to look beyond the obvious symptoms and treat the whole person.
