Liberty Hospital receives three national awards for customer experience and financial management

LIBERTY, MO (July 23, 2020) – Liberty Hospital’s Revenue Cycle Division received three national awards recognizing excellence in customer experience and financial management.

Healthcare Financial Management Association's (HFMA) 2020 MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle. Liberty Hospital is among 23 health providers in the nation to receive this recognition for innovative revenue cycle practices, and it is the only one in Missouri to earn this distinction. MAP stands for measure performance, apply evidence-based strategies for improvement and perform to the highest standards to improve financial results and patient satisfaction. Healthcare Business Insight’s 2019 Revenue Cycle Award. Liberty Hospital was one of only four hospitals in the nation to receive the honor. It is based on analysis of the hospital's outcomes across key performance indicators within the revenue cycle.

Adopter of the HFMA's Patient Financial Communication Best Practices. Demonstrating that it follows nearly 100 best practices in financial interactions with patients, Liberty Hospital joins a select group of healthcare providers that have received this first-of-its-kind national recognition.
