Chaplain Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A hospital chaplain can serve as a pastoral presence. Chaplains provide spiritual connections and can help patients make a connection with their individual faith. They also can provide emotional support for patients and their family members during difficult times.

A hospital chaplain can serve as a liaison between hospital staff and families during a crisis and can serve as a mediator during a difficult situation.

A chaplain can be reached Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 816.792.7026. If you would like to reach the chaplain after business hours, contact the hospital operator at 816.781.7200.

Chapel

H.I. Hester Memorial Chapel is located just to the west of the main hospital lobby. It is a place for meditation, prayer and worship and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for patients and visitors.
