Lab services

Because many decisions a physician makes about your healthcare is based on lab testing, Liberty Hospital offers a full-service laboratory with walk-in services 24/7/365. No appointment is necessary. We perform 85% of testing on site in our state-of-the-art, fully accredited laboratory and these results typically are available within an hour. We also work with our accredited partners Quest Diagnostics and MAWD Pathology to provide 100% of the testing needs for the patients we serve.

Where do I go?

The Lab is located inside the main entrance of Liberty Hospital. Go to Patient Registration to check in first and then go across the hall to the Lab.

  • The Lab is open 24/7/365 for both inpatient and outpatient testing.
  • No appointments are needed.

Meet the Medical Director of the Lab

Chakshu Gupta, MD, FCAP

Phlebotomists are a key part of the Lab staff. They are the ones you typically see either in the Lab or in a patient room with a cart as shown in this photo. A phlebotomy technician draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for medical testing.
