Pain management
The Liberty Hospital Pain Management Center was founded with the goal of helping people return to normal, productive lives. Care is provided by anesthesiologists who are trained in the field of pain management, working in conjunction with nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and social workers.
Together, we develop personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from a variety of illnesses or injuries, including:
- Back, head or neck pain
- Arthritis
- Sciatica
- Neuralgia (including shingles)
- Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD)
- Headaches
- Facial pain
- Rib fracture pain
- Phantom limb pain
- Musculoskeletal pain
- Pain from paraplegia or quadriplegia
- Post-trauma soft tissue injury
Treatment options
Treatments offered in the center include radiofrequency ablations; interventional pain therapies; such as epidural injections; trigger point injections; neuroablation; spinal cord stimulators; and other injection therapies.
The Pain Management Center uses a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, including physical therapy, nutritional counseling, occupational therapy, laboratory work and workers' compensation evaluations as needed.
The Liberty Hospital Pain Management Center is in the Medical Plaza East Building. The center offers six examination rooms, two procedure rooms, five recovery bays and a spacious lobby/waiting room.
